The Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology (GCECT), formerly known as College of Ceramic Technology (CCT), is a government funded institute, affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata, India. It offers engineering courses in Ceramic Technology, Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology. It has been upgraded to a UGC autonomous postgraduate institution. After gaining autonomy, it introduced M.Tech courses in Information Technology, apart from in Ceramics.


Admission is through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Examination Admissions Board (WBJEEB). Lateral admissions are through the Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), also conducted by WBJEEB.

GCECT offers four year undergraduate degree courses in the following three disciplines:
  • B.Tech in Ceramic Technology
  • B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering
  • B.Tech in Information Technology
  •  
  •  and a postgraduate course:
    • M.Tech in Ceramic Technology
